Tutorial 44
This tutorial will cover how to compare stocks, stock indexes and/or commodities with the Stocks Board.
Add the 'Stocks Board' to any stock, stock index or commodity chart. Up to 19 can be monitored.
• Blue = Trending up.
• Red = Trending down.
• Vivid Blue = Strongest Up.
• Vivid Red = Weakest Down.
• Blue Background = All listed/monitored are trending up.
• Red Background = All listed/monitored are trending down.
The 'Stocks Board' indicator comes with the 'Compare stocks' indicator. Combining them offers a rapid visual of what is going up/down and a general view of the overall market.
Here, at the top, we have the S&P500. Middle panel, 'Compare Stocks'. Bottom panel, the 'Stocks Board'.
Let's focus on the 'Stocks Board'.
Each line represents one stock, stock index or commodity. The name of each appears on the right.
Modify the list of stocks/indexes/commodities being compared from the settings of the 'Stocks Board'.
While monitoring all our favourite stocks/indexes/commodities from a single panel, we also are informed that the stock/index/commodity highlighted in vivid blue is rising the most and that the stock/index/commodity highlighted in vivid red is falling the most. We may then focus on those by adding some extra panels underneath the 'Stocks Board'.
