Tutorial 13
This tutorial will cover the 'Steepness Background' feature in the 'Template'.
• Check the box 'Steepness Background'.
• Suggested: Set the main Background to 'Black'.
Let's also modify the chart appearance to black by accessing the Chart Settings/Properties (from the 'gear' icon in the top right menu). In 'Appearance', select a black color for the 'Background' and also for the 'Scales Lines'. Click on the blue 'Ok' button to apply changes.
The More vivid the color of the background becomes, the steeper and stronger the movement is.

SET the 'STEEPNESS BACKGROUND ALERT'.
First, choose:
• All: Alerts on 'All Color Change' (Neutral, 25% Blue, 50% Blue, 75% Blue, 100% Blue, 25% Red, 50% Red, 75% Red, 100% Red).
• Blue/Red: Alerts only when the color changes from Blue (any shade) to Red (any shade) (OR vice versa, from Red to Blue). Ex: From 25% Blue to 75% Blue will NOT trigger an alert.
Second, choose:
• BarEnd: Triggers once per bar, only at the END of the bar, if the color changed.
• InBar: Triggers once per bar max, the moment the color changes anytime INSIDE the bar.
Note: The 'Steepness Background' checkbox does NOT need to be checked for the 'STEEPNESS BACKGROUND ALERT' to trigger.
CREATE the Alert.
1. Select your preferred time frame before creating the alert.
2. Next, move your mouse over the 'Template' title and click on 'More' options ('3 dots' icon) (OR right-click any line displayed in the 'Template') and select 'Add Alert on Template'.
3. In 'Condition', select 'Template' and 'Any alert() function call' (which means: Use the alert(s) already SET in 'Template').
4. Lastly, choose the 'Expiration time' and the 'Alert actions'. Name the alert (short description) and click on 'Create'.
Note: Once the 'Steepness Background Alert' is created, making changes in the indicator settings will NOT impact the alert already created.
