Tutorial 32

The 'Performance' indicator

This tutorial will cover how to use the 'Performance' indicator.

Add the 'Performance' indicator to your chart.

This indicator calculates the Performance.

•The higher and brighter the blue goes = Greater is the upward performance (bullish).
•The lower and brighter the red goes = Greater is the downward performance (bearish).

The 'Steepness' indicator is included inside the 'Performance' indicator.
At the zero line, a line shows how steep the movement is.
Thicker is the line = Steeper is the angle.
White appears where the market is flat.

•The 'Steepness Background' is more advanced in the 'Performance' indicator. The color is composed of more tones making it more precise.

Notes appear on the right.
•The Trading Assistant signals when it goes long or short, closes, pauses or is waiting.
•The Trading Analysis shows the profit/loss percentage and the quantity of bars since the trade started/ended.
•The Bar Performance is displayed.
•The Trend Performance also appears.

3 modes are available.

'Classic':

Above Zero + Blue line when the Curve of the Template is Blue (except when steepest).
Below Zero + Red line when the Curve of the Template is Red (except when steepest).

'Classic +Steepest': (This is the default mode.)

Above Zero when the Curve of the Template is Blue.
Below Zero when the Curve of the Template is Red.

Blue line when the Steepness background is Blue.
Red line when the Steepness background is Red.

'Classic +Steepest +LineBreak': (This mode is more sensitive.)

This mode filters out slower Performance. The color of the line changes and the Trading Assistant signals to pause the trade.

Update - New Feature: The filter 'Wait after flat to open'

Optionally, if the box 'Trading filter - Wait after flat to open' is checked, the Trading Assistant will signal to wait while the market is flat. If a trade is already open, it won't signal the close. And if no trade is running, it will wait to signal the opening a new trade only after the end of the flat.

Alerts can be set to receive the signals provided by the Trading Assistant.

Combine the 'Performance' indicator with your favorite indicators of the Suite.
