Tutorial 43
This tutorial will cover how to compare the performance of stocks, stock indexes and commodities.
Compare and monitor the performance of 19 stocks, stock indexes and commodities.
Each colored line represents the performance from its previous bar.
Add 'Compare Stocks' to any stock, stock index or commodity chart.
Here we have added 'Compare Stocks' to a S&P500 D2 chart.
• Moving up = Gaining value.
• Moving down = Losing value
• Above zero = Up trend.
• Below zero = Down trend.
Blue background = More stocks are above zero (trending up). Brighter is the blue = More up.
Red background = More stocks are below zero (trending down). Brighter is the red = More down.
(The background filter can be set otherwise.)
Let's zoom in.
By zooming further in, we see labels identifying each colored line.
Zoom further in to see the name labels.
Select 'Strongest' to quickly see the strongests. (Optionally check 'Area Style'.)
Modify the list and check/uncheck the stocks, stock indexes and commodities that you want to display and compare. Here we focus on 7.
Let's take a look at the charts showing the highest performance.
Green = Tesla
Pink = UsOil
Magenta = Natural Gas
White rectangles show our trades. These were the trades on our watchlist offering the highest performance.
